Memorial Day KMIA Fly InDescription: Memorial Day KMIA Fly In Between now and Next Monday 27th, we will be doing a fly in and tour in honor of Memorial Day. 1) Any KMIA member that is not currently located at KMIA, and wishes to participate may either fly in to KMIA, or use a free Jumpseat (just start your flight at KMIA without penalty). 2) This will be a mix of aircraft, ending with the B757. As long as you complete the entire tour, in order, you are eligible to fly the aircraft listed, even if it is out of your type rating and rank for this event. 3) These flights will count for PIREPs, so all other regulations are in force (-500 landing or better, no mid-air refuel, no overspeed/stall etc.) This will be done for fun, and to enhance participation in KMIA for Memorial Day. Note, that outside of this event, pilots are not otherwise allowed to fly aircraft out of their rank, or Jumpseat without using the Jumpseat/Dispatch feature of the Pilot Center. The Flight Scheduler may not like allowing multiple people to bid on the same flight. If that is the case, you may pick any flight to/from the departure/destination and fly the aircraft listed in the legs below. They will be counted as a approved PIREP. You MUST indicate in the notes (in addition to your route flown) that you are flying each leg for the Memorial Day KMIA Fly In. Otherwise your PIREP may be rejected. Hub managers are requested to allow flying out of type for those PIREPS indicated as such. You MUST complete all legs in order, using the aircraft listed, to qualify for the free Jumpseat and flying outside of rank for PIREPs.
